CJeS STUDIOS has acquired CREATIVE GROUPING. According to the industry on the 5th, entertainment planning company CJeS STUDIOS recently
CJeS has acquired 100% of CREATIVE GROUPING's shares. The acquisition price is said to be 1.3 billion won (approximately 142.48 million yen).
Baek Chang-ju, CEO of STUDIOS and the largest shareholder of CREATIVE GROUPING, was also the largest shareholder of CREATIVE GROUPING, but each company has continued to operate independently.
However, this merger and acquisition has resulted in the two companies being integrated. CJeS STUDIOS has also sold its 51% stake in JN Agent, another entertainment agency, for 1 billion won.
Last year, CJeS STUDIOS recorded sales of 76.2 billion won and an operating loss of 6.5 billion won, marking two consecutive years of losses.
This is explained as a way to overcome the company's poor performance.
STUDIOS includes Sol Kyung Gu, Oh Dal Su, Park Sung Woong, Moon So Ri, GUMMY, Um Jee Won, Ra Mi Ran, Ryu Jun Yeol, Park Byung Eun, YOOTAEOH, etc.
The only artist in Creative Grouping is actress HYERI from the group Girl's Day.
Ryu Jun Yeol and HYERI, who had been in a public relationship since 2017 but broke up last year, will now be affiliated with the same agency.
