Hyeri (Girl's Day) apologizes for the text posted on SNS: ”'Interesting' was meant for Ryu Jun Yeol. I'm sorry.”

Hyeri from Girl's Day clarified her position and apologised for posting the 'funny' SNS statement.

On the 18th, Hyeri posted on her Instagram, "First of all, I sincerely apologise for the speculation and controversy caused by my personal feelings over the past few days. I don't think I was able to think at all about what impact each of my petty actions could have. I sincerely apologise to anyone who has been affected because of me," she revealed.

Hye Ri's ex-lover Ryu Jun Yeol, whose break-up was reported in November last year, caused a stir when she left a statement on SNS saying that Ryu Jun Yeol's change of heart was "interesting" when rumours of her romance with actress Han So Hee emerged.

Hello. My name is Hye Ri.

First of all, I would like to apologise sincerely for the speculation and controversy caused by my personal feelings over the past few days.

I don't think I have given any thought to the impact that each of my minor actions could have.

I sincerely apologise to anyone who has been affected by my actions.

In November, an article was published about ending an eight-year relationship.

That process was not a decision made in a short period of time, and immediately after the article about our break-up we had a conversation about talking more.

However, since that conversation there has been no contact or encounter of any kind.

And after four months, when I found out about the new article, I think I accepted the emotions as Lee Hye Ri, not as the actor Lee Hye Ri.

I am sorry once again for the damage caused by my momentary emotions.

I could not talk about the reasons for my actions over the past few days because I felt that our conversation was too private an area and rather exhausting.

If anyone is confused because of this, I apologise for that too.

I will endeavour to pay more attention to my words and actions in the future.
