[Official] Actors Kong Myung & ”WEKI MEKI” Do Yeong deny the appearance of Love Affair Rumors, ”The relationship between senior and junior colleagues was in the same management office”

Amidst the relationship rumors raised by South Korean actor Kong Myung (29) and girl group Weki Meki's Do Yeon (24), both sides were quick to deny this.

　On the 26th, Kong Myung's agency Salam Entertainment told Herald POP: "It's not true. They were senior and junior members of the same agency" and denied the rumors.

　Weki Meki' Do Yeon's agency Fantagio also issued an official press release, stating that "The relationship rumors about our artist 'Weki Meki' Kim Do Yeon that was raised through the media today are not true" and "They are just friends with our senior and junior members of the same agency and we would like to inform you that the content of the article The article is not true."

　They continued, "We ask you to restrain yourself from speculation, spreading false rumours and reproducing false facts. We will continue to monitor the situation continuously and make efforts to protect the artists' rights and interests."

　Earlier on the same day, a media outlet reported that Kong Myung and Do Young had recently developed into lovers.

　Meanwhile, Kong Myung debuted as a member of the acting group 5urprise in 2013. He appeared in films such as Extreme Job, Rolyang: Sea of Death and Citizen Dok-hee. Do Yeon debuted as the girl group I.O.I, which was created through Mnet's 'PRODUCE 101'. She has since worked as a member and actress of 'Weki Meki'.
