Arsonist on Seoul Subway Line 5 sentenced to 12 years in prison for attempting to murder 160 people

A man who set fire to a Seoul subway train on Line 5, putting many passengers at risk, was sentenced to 12 years in prison in the first trial. The Seoul Southern District Court sentenced him to 12 years in prison on the morning of the 14th for attempted murder and arson of an existing train.
