South Korea forms a promotion committee with the participation of Samsung and others to establish a semiconductor research institute led by the government

Led by the South Korean Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, a meeting of experts to form the Advanced Semiconductor Technology Center (ASTC) Promotion Committee is expected to be held by March 8th at the earliest.
