Man tried to kill classmate who bullied him in high school was released on probation = Korea
Man in his 20s who attempted to murder a high school classmate with a weapon because he usually ignored him was detained and tried, but was released on good behaviour by the court.

On May 11th, the 14th Criminal Division of the Incheon District Court announced that Defendant A (24), who was arrested and indicted on suspicion of attempted murder, was sentenced to two years and six months in prison with four years of probation. In addition, Defendant A was ordered to attend 40 hours of violence treatment lectures along with probation.

Defendant A is suspected of attempting to kill high school classmate B (24) by stabbing him in the shoulder, back, and arm six times on the stairs of a villa in Incheon around 6:05 pm on November 15th last year

It was found that defendant A was bullied by B's group of friends in high school, and that he believed B usually continued to ignore him, so he visited the victim's place of residence, the Villa in question, to commit the offence.

He was arrested for this crime, but is also accused of punching a fellow inmate several times on November 25th, 2018, when he was detained at Incheon Detention Center.

The court said, "The defendant attempted to kill the victim, thinking he was ignoring him, but failed. The crime was not of good quality, and he committed additional assaults while in custody." explained. He continued, "In connection with the murder, he surrendered myself to the investigative agency and agreed with the victim."
