2-year-old child disappeared from nursery school found on 4-lane road, 700m away
A 2-year-old child suddenly disappeared from a nursery school in Seoul, South Korea, and was found on a four-lane road 700 meters away.

On May 12th, the Seoul National Police Agency's Women and Youth Crime Investigation Unit announced that they had filed a case against a nursery school principal and a nursery teacher in Seoul on suspicion of child abuse and had launched an investigation.

This incident happened on the 5th. At that time, a 2-year-old girl who was playing in the garden of the nursery school was said to have left the nursery school alone. There were five adults in the garden, including the principal and a nursery teacher, but none of them noticed the girl's behavior.

About 20 minutes after the girl left the kindergarten, the kindergarten officials finally noticed that the girl was missing and searched the area, but could not find her, and did not call the police during that time.

The girl was found by a car driver on a four-lane road about 700 meters from the park. At the time, the driver felt suspicious that the girl was alone and called the police.

After that, the kindergarten took the girl who was taken into custody by the police back to the nursery school.

The girl's parents, who learned about the incident late, protested the nursery school, saying, "The child was found on a road with many cars. It almost led to a serious accident." The nursery school then explained, “At that time, the gate was open for a short time because a ward office worker was visiting there (the kindergarten). They also apologized to the girl's parents several times and promised to "strengthen safety measures in the future."

However, the parents filed a police complaint against the director and nursery teacher for child abuse, accusing the nursery school of violating its duty to protect the children.

A police official said, "On the 10th, a complaint was filed by the parents who complained about the damage." and " We intend to confirm the facts through an investigation."
