Terra CEO Kwon Do-hyun arrested after escape = Korea
Kwon Do-hyun, the representative of Terraform Lab, who is a key figure in the 'Terra (LUNA) crash', was arrested 11 months after he fled, and the pursuit of the investigative agency also came to an end. Kwon, who disappeared after leaving Singapore in April last year, was spotted in Montenegro, Eastern Europe, using a fake passport. The prosecution, which has narrowed the investigation network by investigating people close to him, such as those involved in the Terraform Lab, plans to investigate Kwon directly after completing the procedures to repatriate Kwon to South Korea.

On March 24th, the National Police Agency announced that it had finally confirmed the identities of former representatives Kwon and Han Chang-joon, who were arrested in Montenegro the day before. They were caught by local police at Montenegro's Podgorica airport as they attempted to leave for Dubai using fake passports.

Montenegro is a country located next to Serbia, where Kwon is known to have settled in September last year. Serbia is the last country where Kwon's footsteps were confirmed, and the Ministry of Justice sent the head of the Seoul Southern District Crime Merger and the head of the International Criminal Affairs Division of the Ministry of Justice directly to the country to track him down last month.

Kwon left the world's attention for the "Terra (LUNA) crash" and left for Singapore at the end of April last year to avoid prosecutorial investigations. At the beginning of the investigation, Kwon watched the prosecution's investigation and claimed his innocence through social network services (SNS). "I am not on the run. The Korean prosecutor's office is abusing its right to investigate. They are approaching the case with political intentions," he said.

In order to track down Kwon, the prosecution requested the International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL) to issue a red wanted notice in September last year, and the passport invalidation measures were also completed in November last year. In addition, arrest warrants were issued for six people involved, including Nicholas Platias, a founding member of Terraform Lab, and Han former representative, and an arrest warrant was requested for Mr. Yoo, the head of the Terraform Lab business management team, who is a close associate of Kwon

If Kwon was to be investigated directly, the only thing left for the prosecution would be to prove the "securities of virtual currency." If the securitization is not proven, the suspicion of violating the capital market law can be applied.

The prosecution determined that Terra Luna had securities, but the court rejected the arrest warrant after raising doubts about Terra Luna's securities during the detention review of Kwon in October last year. However, in February, the US financial authorities officially recognized the securitization of Terra Luna, and plans to focus on prosecutorial investigations. The prosecution said, "Luna has determined that the requirements for securitization are very clear."
