China claims 'Nongak' as "Chinese folk dance"... South Korean prof criticizes this as "cultural invasion"
China's largest portal site "Baidu" claims that Korean traditional music "Nongak" is a Chinese folk dance, causing controversy in South Korea.

Seo Kyung-deok, a professor at Sungshin Women's University, said on SNS on March 23rd, "In the Baidu encyclopedia, a part of Korean farm music, farm music, is popular among ethnic Koreans in China. It claims to be one of the traditional folk dance forms."

He also said, "The period when nongak became popular was referred to as the Three Kingdoms Period, and the three kingdoms were introduced as 'Koryeo, Baekje, and Silla. They are continuing their cultural aggression to try to change traditional Korean culture into Chinese culture, using the phrase 'ancient Korean culture."
