'4 day weeks' becomes official in Australia for the first time

Following the UK's experiment with reduced working hours, Australia has officially implemented a 'four-day work week' for the first time. With the Australian government considering a four-day work week on a trial basis, the international community is expected to become more flexible in reducing working hours.

According to the local daily newspaper "Australian" on March 23rd, Oxfarm Australia, a private relief organization, will be the first in Australia to maintain a 5-day work week salary and officially implement a 4-day work week for 6 months.

Recently, there has been a debate in Australia about whether we should switch to a four-day work week. As a result, the Australian government is considering a trial run of a four-day work week for 29 domestic companies from the end of April.
