China's Hainan woman puts chain around man's neck for 'walking' : Chinese coverage

A controversial video was posted online in China on Wednesday, showing a woman putting a chain around a man's neck and forcing him to crawl on all fours as if she were walking her dog.

The video was filmed in Haikou, Hainan Province, and the police immediately launched an investigation after receiving a report from an internet user.

In response to the police questioning, the two said that they will perform a live video stream around 10 pm (local time) on the 16th, and that the one who loses will play a "punishment game". Later, at around 11:30p.m., Xie, who had lost the match, attached a pet chain to his neck and forced him to kneel on all fours.

The police sentenced Zeng and Xie to five days of administrative detention for causing social harm and disturbing public order.
