Haggard figure of an 11-year-old student… CCTV released 2 days before his death = Korea
An 11-year-old elementary school student in Incheon died with bruises all over his body after being abused by his stepmother and father. In the video, Boy A showed a blank expression and an extremely anxious appearance, and he was also shown tied to a chair and abused for 16 hours at house.

The SBS program broadcast on March 18th reported on the death of an elementary school student in Incheon City.

On February 7th, A was taken to an emergency room in Incheon in a state of cardiac arrest. At the time, the medical staff saw the child nearly malnourished and thought he was about 7 or 8 years old. At the time, A was 149 centimeters tall and weighed 29.5 kilograms.

There were many bruises on A's body that occurred at different times, and dozens of puncture marks were found on his thighs. There was a skin deformity near the anus that was suspected to be a burn, and the cause of death was multiple blunt force. He was beaten all over his body for a long time, causing a lot of bleeding in his skin.

The program's production team investigated what happened to A through the CCTV around A's house and inside, and found footage of A two days before his death from the CCTV inside his house.

At that time, A had his pants on his head and was tied to a chair. His stepmother tied his hands and feet to a chair with curtain strings and watched him on home cameras. Then, she hurled abusive words through the speaker, woke A up at 5:00 a.m. and instructed him to copy the Bible. It turned out that A was tied to a chair for 16 hours before his death.

In addition, the production team confirmed the fact that A visited a convenience store the day before he died and bought a drink. At the convenience store, A looked extremely anxious, with a vacant expression and all his facial muscles drooping.

Professor Bae Gi-soo of the Department of Pediatrics and Adolescence at Ajou University showed regret saying, "The malnutrition seems to have been severe. It means that it is very bad. If I had have him hospitalized then, he would never died."

The program compared photos taken one year before and one month before A's death. A's bright face was visibly worn out and his expression darkened.

The father and stepmother, who were handed over to the police, said during the police investigation, "I hit him to discipline him," but said, "The bruises and wounds were caused by the child's suicide. When I pushed my child, he fell and couldn't get up."
