Zebra that appeared in the city center is captured after 3 hours... Back to Seoul Grand Park = Seoul, South Korea

A zebra that escaped from Seoul Grand Park and appeared in the city center was captured about three hours later.

Police, firefighters and park keepers set up a safety fence around the escaped zebra and captured it with a tranquilizer gun on Wednesday. Around 6 p.m. the same day, the zebra was placed in the trunk of a truck and returned to Seoul Grand Park, still covered in cloth.

It was determined that there was no loss of life or damage to property by zebras. The zebra escaped from the Seoul Grand Park zoo in Neung-dong, Gwangjin-gu, Seoul around 2:50 pm on the same day and appeared in a residential area in Jayang-dong.

A park official said, "The zebra broke the wooden deck installed around us in the park and escaped."
