A middle school located in Chungcheongbuk-do, South Korea, is shocked by sexual assault and illegal filming among classmates.

According to the Jincheon Education Support Agency, etc., on the 19th, at around 9:00 pm on the 13th of last month, the police received information stating that Mr. A (13), a student at a middle school in Cheongju, lured Ms. B (13) to a lodging facility and sexually assaulted her, and are currently investigating.

According to the information, four male and female students, including Mr. C and Ms. D, who attended another school, were found to have watched the sexual assault while smoking. Among them, Mr. C is also suspected of taking photos and videos of the situation at the time of the sexual assault on their mobile phone.

Ms. B was reported to have confessed, "I was embarrassed when my friend watched (the sexual assault) without stopping and just laughed." Ms. B, who was mentally shocked by this incident, was hospitalized and is receiving treatment.

According to the Ministry of Education and other sources, it has been confirmed that the perpetrators involved in the sexual assault of a middle school girl were five male and female students attending three schools in the Cheongju area.

The school requested that the middle school that the perpetrator attends be notified and that other schools take measures to separate them.

The police plan to investigate the victim once the victim is discharged from the hospital. The police also plan to check whether other students used violence or force while Mr. A lured Ms. B to the lodging facility.

An official from the Office of Education said, "Since the claims of the perpetrators and the victims are contradictory, we will soon convene a school violence deliberation committee to investigate the exact circumstances."
