Men arrested for climbing ruins at Yuanmingyuan Ruins Park in Beijing, China
At the Yuan Ming Yuan Ruins Park in Beijing, China, several men entered a restricted area and climbed the ruins to take pictures, local police announced on March 11th that they had been detained.

When the men visited the Enmeiyuan Ruins Park, they climbed over the fences set up around the Daisuiho Ruins and entered inside. One of them climbed a stone pillar several meters high, sat cross-legged, and instructed his companion to take a picture.

The men's actions were captured on video, and when the video was posted online, it was flooded with criticism from internet users.

After receiving a report from the park, the police conducted an investigation and secured the custody of the three men. The men are currently in administrative detention by the police.

On the 12th, the Yunmeiyuan Management Office reported that there was no damage or other damage to the Daesuiho Ruins, and that the arrested men would be banned from entering the park.
