18 college students arrested for invading US military base... Group crossed wall of US embassy = Korea
Members of the Korean College Student Progressive Union (Daesinren) were arrested by the police after entering the US-South Korea Combined Forces Command in Yongsan District, Seoul without permission and demonstrating.

On March 10th, the Yongsan Police Station in Seoul announced that 18 members of the Daeshinren had been charged with illegally breaching the entrance gate of the Yongsan US-ROK Combined Forces Headquarters and conducting a demonstration (building invasion).

At around 1:00 p.m. that day, they were arrested by the police for red-handed crimes after a sit-in in front of the entrance of the building, yelling, "We oppose the US-South Korea joint training," while shaking off the soldiers who were blocking them at the headquarters gate.

Earlier, in October 2019, Daeshinren members climbed over the wall of the US Ambassador's residence in Jeong-dong, Jung-gu, Seoul, using a ladder, and climbed the "Ha Ri Su" (then stationed in Korea). Ambassador to the U.S. Embassy held a sit-in with a placard reading "Leave this place" and was put on trial. The Supreme Court has sentenced four members of Daishinren to one year in prison, suspended for two years.

In December last year, six Daeshinren members were charged with invading a building and refusing to leave after invading the headquarters of the People's Power Party to prompt a national investigation into the Itaewon accident. In April of the same year, he stormed into the Supreme Public Prosecutor's Office and shouted, "Total deprivation of prosecutorial investigative powers," and five members were arrested for red-handed crimes.
