"Hate Korea" Appearance of condominium residents raising Japanese flag on March 1st = Korea
On March 1st verse (Samiljeol), which celebrates the spirit of independence from the Empire of Japan, an apartment building in Sejong City has the Rising Sun flag instead of the Taegeukgi, drawing public anger.

On March 1st, on the online community in the Sejong City area, photos appeared one after another, saying that the Japanese flag was hanging on the veranda of an apartment in Hansol-dong.

The photo spread online, netizens got angry, and it was reported that the condominium in question was flooded with protest calls.

The condominium management office has visited the house with the rising sun flag many times, but it seems that it is unpopular and nobody is there.

The Sejong City side said, "We are aware of the history of how the Japanese flag was raised."

Nearby residents continued to watch closely, saying, "Let's see when the Japanese flag will go down."

Netizens showed anger saying, "It's a shame for the neighborhood", "Go live in Japan", "At first, I thought it was fake", "You're mocking 3.1 and mocking the Korean people," he said, "rather say you're Japanese." They also identified the building and room number of the apartment with the rising sun flag.

Afterwards, according to the Hankook Ilbo, the resident with the rising sun flag appeared on the first floor of the apartment around 4 p.m. in response to protests from the residents.

A couple in their 30s, who are presumed to be a married couple, told residents, "Because we hated Korea", and "Is it Moon Jae-in even if his head is cracked?" However, the police dispatched to the scene said that no physical conflict occurred.

The couple claimed to be "Korean-born Japanese," but this has not been confirmed. The Japanese flag was also lowered at that time.

According to the Korean Art and Holiday Law, the raising of foreign national flags cannot be restricted on national holidays such as March 1st, and there is no way to punish the Japanese flag forcibly lowering in such circumstances.
