Former clerk at Zhejiang pet store stole 380,000 formers from owner's account = Chinese coverage
A former clerk at a pet supply store in China's Zhejiang province was arrested after it was discovered that he had stolen more than 380,000 Chinese Yuan from the owner's bank account over three years. At the time of his arrest, the former clerk was enjoying a "vacation" in Hainan Province.

At the age of 17 in 2019, a former store clerk named Yang began working at a pet supply store run by a woman, Zhou, with her husband.

One day, by chance, Yang learned the PIN number for Mr. Zhou's Alipay app payment service. It is said that the amount of remittance ranged from several hundred formers to several thousand formers, and sometimes tens of thousands of formers.

After quitting his job in December 2020, Yang continued to steal money from Mr. Zhou's Alipay, totaling 380,000 Chinese Yuan over three years.

In February this year, Mr. Zhou noticed that there was an abnormality in the flow of his account and reported it to the police, and Yang's crime was discovered.

The police found out that Yang was vacationing in Hainan, and went to Hainan to arrest Yang. Yang is currently in criminal custody by the police.
