3 giant pandas including Yongming arrive safely in China's Sichuan province =Chinese coverage
Three giant pandas returned to China from Japan have arrived at Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport in Sichuan Province, China.

The male giant panda "Eimei", who was raised at a theme park in Shirahama, Wakayama Prefecture, and the female twin sisters "Ouhin" and "Touhin" was born in Kansai on the night of February 22nd. They left the airport and arrived safely at Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport at 11:10 pm local time.

The three pandas will be transferred to the "Chengdu Giant Panda Breeding Research Base", where they will each undergo a one-month quarantine period.

Yongming was born in Beijing Zoo in 1992 and came to Japan from China in 1994. He had 6 pandas with the female giant panda "Meimei" and 10 pandas with "Rauhin", for a total of 16 pandas. Sakurahama and Momohama, who returned to China together this time, are also Eimei's children and will be 8 years old this year.
