China cancel PCR test for "people from Korea"? …“consider corresponding measures”
Regarding the decision of the South Korean government to cancel the COVID-19 virus infection PCR test for people entering and leaving China from March 1st, the Chinese government said, "We will consider canceling the RCR test for visitors who depart from South Korea after they arrive at China."

When asked if China would take corresponding measures in response to South Korea's decision, a Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson said at a regular briefing on February 22nd, "China will consider taking corresponding measures in a timely manner."

"We are aware of the related reports, and of course, the South Korean authorities should end discriminatory restrictions on China as soon as possible and create a convenient environment for people to come and go normally" they said.

South Korea's Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters announced on the same day that it would lift the mandatory post-entry PCR test for those arriving from China on March 1st. "Starting in March, we will also remove the restriction on flights departing from China only arriving at Incheon International Airport," they said. On the other hand, the mandatory PCR test before entering South Korea will be temporarily maintained until March 10th.
