Actor Yu A In (37), who is being questioned by the police on suspicion of using drugs, was found to have narcotics other than marijuana and propofol, which are currently known, in a hair test. In response to this report, Yu A In's management office denied such a fact.

Yu A In's management office UAA said on February 24th, "We have asked the police many times about the content of the media reports, but at the moment we have received the answer that they can not tell us."

According to the Seoul National Police Agency's Narcotics Investigation Unit, a total of three types of narcotic ingredients were detected in Yu A In's hair analysis results received from the National Institute of Scientific Investigation.

Police seized Yu A In's smartphone and are proceeding with digital forensics work. The police will voluntarily interrogate Yu A In on suspicion of violating the Narcotics Control Act based on the forensic results of the National Institute of Scientific Investigation.

After Yu A In entered the United States on the 5th, he collected urine and hair samples and asked the National Institute of Scientific Investigation to conduct a detailed analysis. In the course of subsequent examinations, it was revealed that he had been administered even propofol.

Last year, the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety asked the police to investigate Yu A In's use of drugs based on the data analysis system of the integrated drug management system. The Ministry of Food and Drug Safety has confirmed that Yu A In has been regularly prescribed propofol at multiple hospitals since 2021.
