Korea's MBN 'Tokudane Sekai' saw off the late Kim Young-hee.

Kim Young-hee, who participated in the 1982 New Delhi Asian Games and the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics as the Korean women's basketball team, passed away on January 31st, was 60 years old. Before her death, the deceased was diagnosed with acromegaly and had long struggled with brain tumors, hypoglycemia, thyroid disease, and intestinal obstruction.

On the 23rd, "Tokudane Sekai" broadcasted interviews with acquaintances who visited the deceased's funeral home and seniors and juniors in the basketball world.

An acquaintance, Lee Ji-sook, said, "She (Kim Young-hee) calls me once in the morning and once at night to ask if I'm a former, but she didn't come that day. At one point, she fell and broke her neck," he said. He continued, "When I went to the emergency room, we talked. After that, she was transferred to the general ward, but after a few days, she was transferred to the intensive care unit due to cardiopulmonary arrest again, and she didn't wake up."

Seo Jang-hoon, a basketball talent from the national basketball team who supported the deceased financially, said, "I heard that she was tough in various ways, so I helped her even if I didn't do much." He also prayed for the deceased's soul, saying, "My friend has been having a really hard time. I wish she is now at the good place and Rest In Peace."
