Cheonan apologizes for posting Japanese video on SNS = Korea
A Japanese video posted on SNS during the Lunar New Year holiday period by Cheonan City, Chungcheongnam-do caused controversy. The city of Cheonan deleted the post and posted an apology.

On January 22nd, the city of Cheonan posted on its official Instagram, "Ahead of the Lunar New Year, we caused trouble to the citizens with the careless video. We sincerely apologize to all those who were offended by this video. We would like to offer the words of apology."

Prior to this, Cheonan posted a 30-second video on its official Instagram at 11:00 am on the 21st, when the Lunar New Year holidays began.

According to the video, a masked walnut candy doll wearing Hanbok (traditional Korean clothing) is chanting Japanese words such as "Moe moe kyun" and "Make it delicious."

This Japanese is said to be a buzzword of a comedian who has recently gained popularity by caricaturizing Japanese entertainment industry workers.
