Results of censorship of North Korea drone response operation to be announced at Diet on Jan 26th
It has been reported that the joint chiefs of staff's overall censorship over North Korea's unmanned aerial vehicle response operations will be virtually over, and the results will be reported at the National Defense Committee plenary session on January 26th.

Military officials are expected to prepare a final report before this and report it to President Yoon Seo-gyeol via Minister of National Defense Lee Jung-seop.

The National Defense Committee of the National Assembly has set a schedule for interrogation on the North Korean drone intrusion on the 26th. Initially, the National Defense Committee was scheduled to meet on the 19th, but members of the National Defense Committee's "People's Power" lawmakers demanded that the National Defense Committee be convened after the results of the Ministry of National Defense's censorship of all postures. After discussions between the ruling and opposition parties, the schedule was finalized.

However, the opposition Democratic Party has argued that the range of questions related to the drone incident should be expanded not only to the Ministry of National Defense but also to the presidential office, so there is a possibility that the confrontation between the ruling and opposition parties will continue.

It was also reported that the Democratic Party is also promoting the convening of the National Assembly Steering Committee to answer pending questions against the presidential security office and the National Security Office.
