Korea's "Passport Power" is 2nd this year... Who's No.1?
It turned out that Korea has the world's second-largest "passport power" in terms of easily visiting foreign countries.

According to the US CNN broadcast on January 10th (local time), in the "World Mobility Report for the First Quarter of 2023" released by the international exchange advisory company "Henry & Partners" on the same day, Korea will be one of the 199 countries in the world this year. Among them, it came in second in the "Global Passport Power" ranking.

Based on the data of the International Air Transport Association (IATA), "Henry Passport" is an index that ranks "how many countries passport holders can visit without a visa or go through easy immigration procedures". The index has been published quarterly each year.

South Korea, which shared second place with Germany in the first quarter of last year, won second place with Singapore this year.

On the other hand, it was "Japan" that shone in first place in the report announced on that day.

Korean passports ranked 13th in 2013, but since 2018, they have maintained their top position, moving between 2nd and 3rd place in the world.
