"Chicken from the sky" ... Korean chicken specialty store test flight of "drone delivery"
Kyochon F&B, which operates the popular Korean chicken specialty store Kyochon Chicken, successfully conducted a chicken delivery test flight with PABLO AIR, a drone logistics delivery solution start-up company, on December 8th.

Kyochon and Pablo Air carried out the entire process from ordering to delivery during the test flight held in Cheongpyeong, Gapyeong-gun, Gyeonggi-do on November 18th.

Orders were placed through a specialized ordering app operated by Pablo Airlines. After receiving the order, the chicken cooked at the Cheongpyeong branch of Kyochon Chicken was placed in a drone delivery box and then flew 7 kilometers to the guest house in Gapyeong area where the order was placed.

The drone used for the test flight was manufactured by Pablo Airlines. It can deliver up to 5 kilograms and has a flight time of no more than 40 minutes. In addition, it is equipped with a system that ensures uninterrupted communication during flight, and various safety devices are also installed.

An official of Kyochon F&B said, "This test flight was able to confirm the strengths and possibilities of drone delivery."

Kyochon F&B plans to sign an MOU (business agreement) with Pablo Airlines within this year to build a strategic cooperative relationship and work together to build a business for the regular use of drone delivery.
