4 Ukrainian lions 'survived during bombing' to US
Four-to-five-month-old lions born in Ukraine have made a new home at a wildlife sanctuary in Minnesota, USA.

The Associated Press reported on December 1st (local time) that one male Eon and three Eon females rescued in Ukraine arrived safely at the Minnesota wildlife sanctuary "Wildcat Sanctuary" on November 29th via Poland. Three of them were reportedly from the same mother and came from Odessa, and the other had a mother from a kiwi enclosure.

The International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW), the animal protection group behind the program, said in a statement: "The La-Eons were born in war, survived the bombing, and lost their mother just weeks after birth. It has endured more than any other animal in its short life."

American veterinarian Andrew Kushnir accompanied lions's baby from start to finish. He prepared food for them every three hours during Russian air raids and warmed a baby bottle with his hands and feet on days when the power went out during the bombing, AP reported.

Lion's cub will not be shown to the public but can be seen on the Wildcat Sanctuary website and on Facebook videos.
