China's foreign ministry lashes out at West's Remark of 'Don't crack down on protesters'
Regarding the international community's assertion that China should not oppress demonstrators who oppose the zero-corona policy, the Chinese government said, "Listen to the voices and concerns of your own people instead of worrying about what other countries say", they said, expressing their displeasure.

At a press conference on November 30th, Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Zhao Lijian said, "Foreign governments and overseas Chinese people are showing sympathy for the demonstrations by the Chinese people. Some of the countries we're talking about have a lot of internal problems."

"China's epidemic policy has proved that it protects the life, safety and physical health of the people to the greatest extent possible, and minimizes the impact of the epidemic on economic and social development," he said.
