Korea's worst internet sex crime "nth room case" defendant is guilty of forced indecency
Cho Joo-bin, who was sentenced to 42 years in prison for producing and distributing sexual exploitation videos of women while running Telegram's "Dr. room", has received another sentence.

Seoul Central District Court Criminal 22 Judge Lee Kyung-rin sentenced Cho, who was brought to trial on suspicion of indecent assault, to four months in prison on November 24th. He also issued a 40-hour sexual assault treatment program order and a three-year employment restriction order for institutions related to children and adolescents and welfare facilities for the disabled.

In October 2019, Cho Ju-bin reportedly told his acquaintances about the fact that he tried to sell sex after deceiving a woman in her early 20s by saying that he was in his early 20s with an ID card and a photo. He was indicted on suspicion of sending nude photos.

Kang Hoon, who was also indicted and sentenced to four months in prison on the same day, also publicized and managed the 'Dr's Room' even though he knew that Jo Ju Bin was receiving sexual exploitation from the victim. It was understood that he posted advertisements for recruiting sponsor part-time jobs to lure victims. Prosecutors demanded three years in prison for Cho and four years in prison for Kang.

From May 2019 to February 2020, Cho is accused of intimidating dozens of women, including children and adolescents, into produce sexually exploited material, and selling and distributing it through Telegram's "Dr's room" and was sentenced to 42 years in prison by the Supreme Court in October last year. Kang was also sentenced to 15 years in prison last November.
