After fight with boyfriend? Woman jumped onto a highway = Korea

In South Korea, a woman in her 30s jumped onto a highway and was hit by a moving car and died. It turned out that Ms.A got into a fight with her boyfriend before the accident. Police are investigating the relationship between this and the fatal accident.

According to the Gwangju Gwangsan Police Station and the highway patrol team, Ms.A (38) was hit and killed by an SUV on the first lane near the Bia stop on the Honam Expressway in Gwangsan District, Gwangju, at around 2:23 a.m. on November 18th.

Through a nearby security camera, the police confirmed that she parked her car on the shoulder of the road near the stop and then got into a fight with her boyfriend Mr.B.

In addition, it is said that the scene where he stopped her from jumping onto the highway just before the accident was also captured by the security camera.

The police called him as a witness and are investigating the circumstances of the accident, but they plan to file a case as a suspect if his responsibility for negligence or suspected crimes becomes clear.
