3 K-pop groups expected to debut in Japan
This time, we will introduce a K-POP group that has not yet debuted in Japan!

In recent years, the members of K-POP groups have become more international, and there are many Japanese members. In the meantime, I would like to feature groups that are still active only in Korea.

"CRAVITY"
9-member Korean boy group "CRAVITY" debuted from STARSHIP Entertainment in 2020. Since they were trainees, four STARSHIP trainees have appeared on the popular Korean audition program "PRODUCEX101". The debut mini-album "CRAVITY SEASON 1 [HIDEOUT: REMEMBER WHO WE ARE]" recorded sales of over 100,000 copies, making it the highest album sales among groups debuting in 2020. In addition, their momentum has been tremendous since their debut, such as ranking first in the rookie category of the album chart for the first half of the Hanteo chart.

Furthermore, the 2nd mini-album "CRAVITY SEASON2. [HIDEOUT: THE NEW DAY WE STEP INTO]", which was released 4 months later, ranked first in the Gaon Chart Album Chart and the Hanteo Chart Weekly Album Chart, and in Japan, Tower Records All Stores General Album Weekly Chart. It showed that they are popular not only in Korea but also in Japan, such as winning the first place.

However, they have yet to make their debut in Japan. In June of this year, they opened the Japanese official fan club "LUVITY JAPAN", but the word "Japan debut" has not yet been heard. As they have a track record of achieving good results in CD sales in Japan as well, we are concerned about future trends.

"WJSN"
WJSN is a Korean girl group that was jointly planned and debuted in 2016 by South Korea's STARSHIP Entertainment and China's YUEHUA Entertainment. It consists of a total of 13 Korean and Chinese members, and there are many masterpieces such as "Secret" and "As You Wish". Appearing on Mnet's survival program "QUEENDOM 2" aired this year and winning first place on the final stage, it became a Hot Topic when they were given the right to perform an Exclusive comeback show on Mnet. Recently, member Bona is also known for her good performance in the Korean TV series “Twenty-Five, Twenty-One” as the rival of the main character, Na Hee Do, and the fencer Go Yuri Mu.

A well-known group in the K-POP world, they are often exposed in variety shows. The Korean boy group "MONSTA X" and the Korean girl group "IVE" from the same agency have debuted in Japan, but "WJSN" is known to have yet to debut in Japan.

"Billlie"
"Billlie" debuted as MYSTIC STORY's first girl group in 2021. It consists of seven members, including members Tsuki and Siyun, who have been active as models in Japan since before their debut, and Soohyun, who appeared as a main cast in the popular web TV series "A-TEEN".

The title song "GingaMingaYo (the strange world)" of the 2nd mini album "the collective soul and unconscious: chapter one" released in February this year has been played more than 28 million times, and the personal camera released by the music program, In so-called "ticket" videos, member Tsuki's ticket video has been played more than 10 million times, showing unprecedented popularity among rookie idols.

Also, Tsuki and Haruna, who was a private trainee, are Japanese, so it seems that Japan debut is in sight from the beginning, but it has not yet reached Japan debut. Looking at the opening of the Japanese official site on the 10th of this month, it seems that the goal is close.
