More than 10 shellings at Europe's largest "Japorija" nuclear power plant ... IAEA "playing with fire"
The area around the Zaporizhia nuclear power plant in Ukraine, the largest nuclear power plant in Europe, has been bombarded more than 10 times, and the warning of a nuclear accident is ringing in the international community.

The IAEA (International Atomic Energy Agency), a nuclear monitoring agency under the United Nations, issued a statement on November 20th (local time), saying, "From the afternoon of the 19th to the morning of the 20th, more than 12 explosions occurred at the Zaporizhia Nuclear Power Plant. Such an attack could lead to a large-scale nuclear disaster," Reuters reported.

Rafael Grossi, Director General of the IAEA, said, "The news from the IAEA team at the site of the Zaporizhia Nuclear Power Plant was extremely shocking", he said.

"No matter who is behind it, it must be stopped immediately," he said. "As I have said many times before, this is playing with fire."

The local IAEA team learned that several buildings and facilities around the Japorija nuclear power plant had been damaged. However, there have been no reports of nuclear safety accidents, such as the outflow of radioactive materials, to date.
