"I thought a missile had fallen"... Sudden thunder stopped traffic lights = Korea
On the afternoon of November 15th, rain accompanied by thunder fell in Seoul, South Korea, causing damage such as traffic signal failures.

The Korea Meteorological Agency (JMA) tweeted that day, saying, "There are places where it rains 1-3mm per hour in Seoul, Incheon, and Gyeonggi-do, and there are places where thunder occurs in northwestern Gyeonggi and Seoul."

Currently, "thunder" and "lightning" are the main keywords on Twitter.

Looking at the tweets, "I thought a missile had fallen", "It sounded like a shell falling", "I thought the war had finally started", "The signal stopped", "Hail fell while driving and I couldn't see forward for a moment."

In Seoul, traffic signal failures occurred one after another in Seogyo-dong, Ahyeon-dong, Yeouido, and Yongsan in Mapo-gu.

The Korea Meteorological Administration said, "This rain will continue until midnight on the 16th, and there will be occasional rain until 3:00 am on the 16th in southern Gyeonggi Province."

It continued, "Especially in the Seoul metropolitan area and Gangwon-do Yongseo district, there are thunders and hail in some areas, so please pay attention to safety accidents and facility management."
