Sandals worn by Steve Jobs sold for $300k = Korea coverage
One of the founders of Apple, the late Steve Jobs, used his favorite sandals at an auction in the United States for $218,750, far exceeding the estimated maximum price of $90,000.

CNN reported on November 15th (local time) that Steve Jobs' favorite BIRKENSTOCK sandals were sold for $218,750 at the US auction house Julian on the 12th. The identity of the successful bidder has not been disclosed.

The sandals still have the marks left by Steve Jobs on the soles of his feet, and the soles are worn out from long use.

Steve Jobs' home custodian in California found and stored sandals that had been thrown away in the trash and sold them at auction in 2016 for $3,400.
