Man swims in road flooded by heavy rain... "Worried about electric shock", "Okay for skin disease?", "At times like this..." = Korea
As the central region of South Korea experienced record rainfall for the first time in 80 years, flood damage occurred one after another in many parts of Seoul. On August 8th, more than 100mm of rain was recorded in an hour, mainly in the southern part of Seoul, flooding roads.

Citizens swimming in the flooded roads around Silrim-dong spread online. The six-second video shows a man in a red swimming cap and bathing suit flapping and crawling through murky water. It became a Hot Topic as "Sinlim-dong's Phelps (the name of an American swimmer)", and many netizens shared the video.

Korean netizens who saw this commented, "It's funny, but I'm worried about them getting electrocuted," "I'm worried about them getting a skin disease," and "Are you going to play around like this in an unprecedented disaster?"
