Among the seven coffee shops in South Korea, Starbucks has the highest overall consumer satisfaction. Carcinogenic substances were detected in the event goods "Summer Carry Bag" and caused controversy, but it was ranked 1st in the satisfaction evaluation.
According to the results of a survey conducted by the Korea Consumer Agency on consumer satisfaction among the top seven coffee shops, Starbucks scored the highest overall satisfaction with 3.99 points. However, it received the lowest score in the price and service category. Starbucks scored the highest overall satisfaction with a score of 3.99, while Angel-in-Us scored the lowest with a score of 3.69. Coffee Bean scored 3.93, Holly's Coffee scored 3.92, Ediya Coffee and Twosome Place scored 3.83. The Consumer Affairs Agency explained that there was no statistically significant difference in overall satisfaction with brands other than Starbucks and Angel-in-Us.
Starbucks scored the highest in the Orders and Payments and Merchandise Sold category with a score of 4.07, but the lowest in the Price and Service category with a score of 3.51.
The Korea Consumer Agency reflects 50% of each of the three major categories of satisfaction (service quality, service products, service experience) and comprehensive satisfaction (general satisfaction, satisfaction compared to expectations, satisfaction compared to above) to determine overall satisfaction.
