16 cities to hold "2026 North American Soccer World Cup" co-sponsored by 3 countries for the first time in history
The host city has been confirmed as the 2026 Soccer World Cup has been decided to be jointly held by the United States, Canada and Mexico.

On June 17th (Japan time), the Federation of International Football Associations (FIFA) announced 16 cities where the 2026 North America World Cup main competition will be held.

The number of participating countries in the North American World Cup has increased from the existing 32 countries to 48 countries. The number of games has also increased from 64 to 80.

Eleven cities were selected from the United States, where a total of 60 games are played. Matches will be held in Atlanta, Boston, Dallas, Houston, Kansas City, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, New Jersey, Philadelphia, San Francisco Bay Area and Seattle.

The capital city, Washington DC, along with Denver, Nashville, Cincinnati, Orlando, etc., were rejected in the venue examination.

Guadalajara, Mexico City and Monterrey will be the 3 cities in Mexico where 10 games will be played. 2 cities, Toronto and Vancouver, were selected for Canada, where the same 10 games will be played.
