Woman who got drunk at noon and assaulted child & teacher in nursery school, the prosecution seeks a prison sentence

Prison sentence for woman in her 20s for assaulting a child and teacher at a nursery school while drunk.

On June 23rd, the prosecutor's office sentenced her to 10 months in prison at the trial of Defendant A (29) on suspicion of injury held at the District Court in the Northern District of Seoul.

Defendant emphasized that she was drunk during the trial process and was in a state of weakness.

A Defendant's defense counsel said, "The defendant admits all her crimes and deeply regrets." At the same time, her side added, "Victim reveals unwillingness to punish."

Defendant A said at the trial that she was "looking back on herself while living in a detention center" and "to prevent recidivism, she would never do this again through alcohol treatment."
