Hong Kongers' entry into Korea without visa will resume from July 1st
From July 1st, Hong Kongers will be able to re-enter South Korea with a "no visa".

On 20th, the Consul General of South Korea said, "Hong Kong has re-permitted non-residents to enter No-Visa from May 1st, and South Korea will resume entering No-Visa for Hong Kongers." However, all tourists entering Hong Kong, including South Korea, must spend a quarantine period at the hotel for 7 days after arrival.

Prior to the COVID-19 virus infection, South Korea and Hong Kong allowed each other a 3-month no-visa visit. However, in early 2020, when the COVID-19 pandemic began, Hong Kong banned all non-residents from entering the country. As a result, South Korea did not issue tourist visas, and each other's no-visa system was not enforced for 2 and a half years.
