Seoul, South Korea ranked 60th in the "2022 World's Most Liveable Cities" rated by a British think tank.

According to a report released on June 22nd (local time) by the economic analysis organization "Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU)", which is a sister company of the British Economist magazine, Seoul was in the 80s out of 100 points.

It ranks 60th out of 173 cities in the world and 12th in the Asia-Pacific region.

Vienna (Austria) was the number one most livable city in the world.

"Cities in Europe and the United States, where the blockade of COVID-19 virus infections has been significantly lifted, scored high on cultural, environmental and medical metrics," the EIU explained.

Following Vienna, Copenhagen (Denmark), Zurich (Switzerland), Calgary (Canada), Vancouver (Canada), Frankfurt (Germany), Toronto (Canada) and Amsterdam (Netherlands) were selected as comfortable cities to live in. Osaka (Japan) and Melbourne (Australia) all ranked in 10th place.
