Customer of cold noodle restaurant died from food poisoning ... "Salmonella" detected in brocade egg = Korea
About 30 customers who ate cold noodles at a restaurant in Gimhae, Gyeongsangnam-do, South Korea suffered from food poisoning, and it was announced that a man in his 60s had died.

Gimhae City announced on June 23rd that it was found that 34 out of 1,000 customers who used the restaurant specializing in cold noodles had food poisoning during the 4 days between May 15th and 18th.

Of these, Mr. A, a man in his 60s who delivered and ate cold noodles at the restaurant, was treated at the hospital complaining of abdominal pain due to food poisoning, but it was found that he died 3 days after admission.

As a result of autopsy, the cause of death of Mr. A was septic shock. The "Salmonella" that causes food poisoning penetrated into the blood vessels and caused inflammation throughout the body.

As a result of a restaurant survey conducted by the Korean Food and Drug Administration on May 19th, Salmonella, which causes food poisoning, was detected in brocade eggs.

Currently, the restaurant has been suspended for a month from the city. At the entrance of the restaurant, a message saying "business suspension" was pasted, and business was suspended.

Police have filed a case with the owner of the restaurant to investigate the exact process.
