60% of U.S. Citizens "Should Prosecute Trump" ... Responsibility for "1.6 Case"
6 out of 10 Americans said "We should prosecute former US President Donald Trump for responsibility for the 1.6 attack on the US Congress."

The US ABC Broadcasting, together with a polling agency, conducted a survey of 545 adults in the United States on June 17th to 18th, when the third hearing of the US Parliament's 1.6 Survey Special Committee was completed. It was reported on 19th (local time).

According to the broadcast, 58% of respondents said, "We should prosecute him as a criminal for the role of former President Trump in the event of 1.6." This is a 6% increase from the time of the joint survey (52%) by ABC Broadcasting and the Washington Post on June 4th before the hearing.

This "prosecution against former President Trump" varied greatly among party supporters.

For Democratic supporters, 91% of respondents said they should "prosecute former President Trump," while only 19% of Republican supporters said "should be prosecuted."

For respondents without a supporting party, 62% said they should "prosecute former President Trump."
