Legoland, South Korea, controversy for "parking prohibition sticker" on cars parked on the street ... Cause is high parking fee?
Legoland in Chuncheon, South Korea, which has been pointed out as having a high parking fee, controversial this time with a no-parking sticker on vehicles parked near the theme park.

Recently, at the Chuncheon Mama Cafe on the Internet, a photo of a car parked on the embankment side by the Legoland side with a parking-prohibited sticker was posted. The publisher asked, "A sticker is affixed to a car parked on the road on the embankment side. Is this also owned by Legoland?" Many other members also commented "what was the reason for sticking a sticker even though they are not a local government?" There are also ongoing protests that the stickers are difficult to remove.

Street parking is a problem caused by high parking fees. The parking fee for Chunkawa Legoland is 18,000 won (about US$17) a day if you park for more than an hour, which is higher than other theme parks in Korea and there is no discount.

As a result, more and more customers are parking their cars on nearby streets rather than in parking lots.

However, there is a continuing opposition that it is a ridiculous measure for Legoland Chuncheon, who has no administrative authority, to sanction this. In fact, according to Kangwon-do, the road is owned separately by Gangwon-do and the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport.

In response, the Legoland side said, "We have determined that there is a risk of an accident due to a car parked on the street. However we will not put stickers in the future."

Legoland is considering offering a discount on parking fees, which caused controversy because they are expensive.
