President Xi told Putin, "Countries should ensure that Ukrainian crisis is resolved appropriately"
Chinese President Xi Jinping said in a telephone talk with Russian President Vladimir Putin afternoon of June 15th that "Countries should take responsibility for the Ukrainian crisis to be properly resolved."

President Xi said earlier about the Ukrainian War, "I hope China will continue to play a role in this," China Central Television reported.

President Xi said, "China is consistent from beginning to end, departing from the historical background of the Ukrainian problem and by all means (good and evil of things), making independent judgments, actively promoting world peace, and stabilizing the world economic order."

This seems to be a statement that China maintains a "neutral attitude" regarding the Ukrainian war.

Regarding China-Russia relations, President Xi said, "China hopes that practical cooperation with Russia will continue to be stable. China will continue to support core interests such as sovereignty and security and serious concerns with Russia. I hope that the two countries will work closely together."

In response, President Putin said, "We support China's global security initiative and oppose any forces interfering with China's internal affairs using Xinjiang, Hong Kong, Taiwan, etc. as an excuse," CCTV said.

He continued, "I hope that we will strengthen cooperation between China and other countries, promote global multipolarization, and make constructive efforts to establish a fairer and more rational international order."
