227 confirmed cases of infection in mainland China are 8 provinces and cities <Shanghai 96 cases, Beijing 52 cases, Sichuan province 49 cases, Tianjin 16 cases, Jilin province 9 cases, Henan province 3 cases, Jiangsu 1 case and 1 case of the Ministry of Qinghai>.

On the same day, three new deaths were reported, all confirmed in Shanghai. The current number of confirmed cases in mainland China is 5205. Of these, 301 are severely ill patients.
