"Victory is to endure" Chinese media beautifying Shanghai "Zero Corona"
On June 1st, China's Shanghai has embarked on a self-celebration as the Chinese government media rushed into a gradual urban normalization with the goal of unlocking the lockdown.

On May 17th, China's government-run Xinhua News Agency produced and reported a video containing the audio of a press conference by the deputy mayor of Shanghai against the backdrop of the beautiful scenery and calm music of Shanghai. In the two-minute video, the deputy mayor announces that stores in Shanghai will open in stages from May 16th. This video finally beautifies China's "Zero Corona" policy with the subtitle "It's a victory to endure to the end."

China Youth Daily and China Youth Daily, which are run by the Chinese government, reported that Shanghai is heading for normalization all at once, citing images from the Xinhua News Agency.

The city of Shanghai entered the lockdown from March 28th, and entered the gradual urban normalization from the previous day with the goal of completely releasing it from June 1th.

The city of Shanghai said on this day that "16 wards of Shanghai have already realized Corona Zero" and "from June, arrIVEs to work using public institutions will be permitted."

In Shanghai, some shops such as shopping malls, department stores, supermarkets, convenience stores, and pharmacies have resumed operations from the previous day. In addition, taxis and private cars will start to pass in some areas from May 16th, and some bus services will be permitted from 22nd. The policy is to gradually expand the operation of the subway and increase the number of flights.
