South Korean presidential office ends operation of national petition
The term of former President Moon Jae-in of South Korea ended on May 9th, and the homepage of Cheong Wa Dae and the homepage of the national petition have also ended.

Since President Yoon Seok-yeol has decided to move the Office of the President to Yongsan and to create a park on the site where the Office of the President used to be, the "Presidential Homepage" as an online window for the Office of the Secretary to the President is expected to disappear in the future. In addition, the Presidential Office of National Petition, which was introduced by the Moon administration, is no longer in operation.

More than 1.1 million petitions have been submitted to the National Petition Bulletin Board, which was run by President Moon from the beginning of his term to the present. By February of this year, a total of 516 million people had visited the National Petition Bulletin Board, which started on August 19, 2017. The average number of visitors per day was 318 million, and an average of 670 petitions were posted per day. During the same period, the cumulative number of consenters was 229 million.

Cheong Wa Dae explained, "The petition related to the Telegram nth Room Case has also played a role in the establishment of national policies, such as the establishment of a pan-government joint digital sexual violence root absolute measure and the revision of the sexual violence punishment law."
