Legendary ginseng is found on Mt. Jiri ... "Appraisal value 180 million won ($178k)" = Korea

“Tongjasam (a round pattern like a chestnut)” that appears in the legend from the foot of Mt. "Gyeongsangnam-ginseng" with 18 roots in the shape of "Gyeongsangnam-ginseng growing in the mountains" was discovered.

According to the Korean Traditional Collectors Association, on May 7th, Mr. Park (51), who has a livelihood of medicinal herbs, dug 18 rooted heavenly ginseng at 800m above sea level on Mt. Jiri on 5th.

As a result of requesting an appraisal from the Yamajin Association, it was decided that the weight of this mountain ginseng would be 103g and the appraisal value would be 180 million won (about US$178,000).

This mountain ginseng is a "family root" that is estimated to be 100 years old or more, and 18 roots grow within a radius of 10 m.
