Soon after, bus driver Wu Jung (65) performed CPR. It was only 15 seconds after the passengers collapsed. Meanwhile, another passenger called 119.

One minute after the first aid was given, the passengers regained consciousness, and the ambulance crew arrived at the scene 3 minutes after the report. Passengers regained consciousness and were taken to the hospital by ambulance. This passenger was a visitor from Daegu to Gyeongju and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
