Big Bang's V.I. pleaded guilty to nine charges and reflected on it... sentenced to one year and six months in prison.
VI (Sungri / 31), a former member of the Korean boy group BIGBANG, who was charged with a total of nine charges including prostitution mediation, was sentenced to 1 year and 6 months in prison on appeal.

According to South Korean media on the 27th, the Higher Military Court of the Ministry of Defense held an appeal trial against VI this morning and sentenced VI to 1 year and 6 months in prison.

Prior to this, in August last year, the Yongin Ground Operations Headquarters Ordinary Military Court sentenced him to three years in prison. Along with this, he also ordered a surcharge of 1,156.9 million won (about 110 million yen).

VI dissatisfied with the decision of the first trial and appealed in October last year, and the military prosecutor's office also filed an appeal. Initially, VI was scheduled to be discharged on September 16, but after the appeal, the military court was in charge of an additional trial of the VI, and the discharge of VI was suspended and is now in prison.

V.I. is accused of violating the law on aggravated economic crimes (corruption), violating the Food Sanitation Law, professional embezzlement, and sexual violence crimes (camera shooting), violating the Foreign Exchange Transaction Law, and inciting special violence.

Considering V.I.'s admission of all charges and his reflection, the court decided to drastically reduce the sentence.
